The is mainly used for harvesting of various pastures, such as alfalfa, ryegrass, oat grass and so on. It has high work efficiency, more suitable for cutting taller crops than the reciprocating mower. The cutter bar is installed with the screw handle(somes models cam be installed with hydraulic devices) for convenient transportation. it is easy to rise and fall, adopting the double spring suspension for the adaptoin of the rough and uneven ground, no damage to the grassland. 
The machine is equipped with the safety device for protective effect, when meeting obstacles or abnormal force, the mowing disc moves bakward, prevening it from damage.
